Your choice

Smerio uses essential storage for requested account access and security. Optional analytics is off until you accept it. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent browsing or using your account. Use Cookie settings, at the bottom of the screen, to accept, reject or choose Google Analytics and PostHog separately. You can withdraw your choice there at any time.

The choice applies to this browser on the same origin, across the public website and Hub. It is not consent to email or RCS marketing. Google sign-in and booking services open when you choose to use them and have their own notices. Browser privacy signals (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track) keep optional analytics disabled.

Storage used by these controls

Name Provider and purpose Duration
smerio_consent_v1 (local storage) Smerio: remember the choices, version and time of your decision; essential to respect your choice Valid for 180 days; renewed on a new decision. An expired value is ignored and replaced on your next choice
smerio_attribution_v1 (local storage) Smerio, only with PostHog permission: campaign source and up to 30 visited paths, used for analytics A 90-day attribution window, checked on the next consenting visit; removed when PostHog permission is withdrawn
_ga, _ga_6V4KS8B6Z2 (cookies) Google Analytics: distinguish visits and measure website interactions Configured for up to 180 days; removed by our controls when Google Analytics permission is withdrawn
PostHog identifiers (memory) PostHog: measure page views and chosen product interactions; campaign data may accompany events Current page lifetime; new configuration uses memory persistence and disables session recording, autocapture and surveys
Authentication/session storage Clerk and sign-in providers: maintain and protect the account session you request Managed by the authentication provider and session configuration; separate from optional analytics

This table describes the public website and Hub. Documentation at /docs/ is served by Mintlify: its visitor telemetry is disabled, and the consent controls remove its legacy mintlify_anonymous_id and mintlify_session_id browser identifiers. Mintlify’s infrastructure also serves Cloudflare performance monitoring; the audited initial load did not set cookies for it. External destinations, including Google Calendar, operate under their own policies.

How the services run

Google Analytics and PostHog scripts are blocked until the corresponding permission is granted. We do not load Google analytics tags for denied visitors. Advertising consent remains denied. PostHog uses its EU collection endpoint; this alone does not establish that every provider or subprocessor processes data exclusively in the EU.

Withdrawing permission stops future browser analytics and removes accessible analytics storage. It does not undo earlier processing or delete records already received by a provider. For deletion requests, contact support@smerio.com. Background exports of account and email lifecycle events to PostHog are disabled until a separate, revocable account consent mechanism is in place; operational service records remain in the application.

If storage is blocked, your choice works for the current page and may need to be repeated on the next visit. Essential authentication and security data are handled separately. See the Privacy Policy for providers, rights and outstanding details of this provisional notice.
